Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve cooling efficiency by effectively utilizing the average temperature at the inlet and outlet of cooling water upon the heat exchange between said cooling water and solution.
CONSTITUTION: The cooling water flowing in the cooling pipe 12a of an absorber 2 keeps aqueous solution at a fixed temperature after flowing to the cooling pipe 12b of a final pass 2n through the pass 2n-1 just before said final pass 2n. The diluted solution accummulated in the lower portion of said final pass 2n is fed to an ejector 5, while an portion of the diluted solution accummulated in the lower portion of passes 2aW2n-1 is fed to said ejector 5, and the remainder is fed to a regenerator 7 and separated into refrigerant vapor and concentrated solution. Said refrigerant vapor is returned to an evaporator 1 after condensed and liquefied by a condenser 8 and said concentrated solution is sprayed over the cooling pipe of said final pass 2n by a spray pipe 16 through a heat exchanger 6. The solution diluted by absorbing vapor is accummulated in the lower portion of said final pass 2n, introduced into an ejector 5, and sprayed by a spray pipe 15 together with the diluted solution fed from a circulating pump 4.
