Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the labor of cutting and removing of defective yarns at each spinning position, by winding yarns from two or more drawing positions onto one position at the time of preliminary starting of a draw-winder.
CONSTITUTION: In preliminary starting a draw-winder, a plurality of drawing positions are operated in a short time and stopped, and yarns are rethreaded to positions of yarn breakage before starting. Yarns from two or more positions are doubled and led to one position and wound onto a waste spool or bobbin of the position. After stopping the draw-winder, the waste spool or bobbin is exchanged, and the yarns are wound for each position.
