Abstract
PURPOSE: To settle and separate heavy metals, especially mercury, as the precipitate, by precipitating and separating several kinds of heavy metal components in the treating water of the flue gas as far as possible by means of the flocculating and precipitating method using alkali, etc. and, after that, by performing the contact treatment for the above treating water with the liquid, water-soluble, selective fixing agent of chelate type for heavy metals.
