Abstract

PURPOSE: To heighten the productivity without reducing the electric characteristics, by coating a conductor with a semiconductive mixture containing a bridging agent and a ferromagnetic substance and by coating an insulator layer and an outside semiconductive material on said mixture and by irradiating high-frequency waves to the coatings.
CONSTITUTION: The conductor is coated with the inside semiconductive layer 2, the intermdeiate insulator layer 3 and the outside semiconductive layer 4. An antioxidant is added to polyethylene and polyethylene copolymer. This mixture is further mixed with 10 to 70% of carbon black, 0.5 to 5 % of a bridging agent such as organic peroxide and 10 to 30 % of a ferritic ferromagnetic substance. The inside and the outside semiconductive layers 2, 4 are made from the final mixture. After all the layers are coated, high-frequency waves of 10 to 1000 KHz are irradiated to the layers. The mixture is bridged by the internal heating of the ferromagnetic substance. Thereby, the productivity is heightened without reducing the electric characteristics.
