Abstract

PURPOSE: To shut off electricity to heater to look to the safety when insulation resistance becoms lower than the standard resistance by comparing resistance between heater and heater body with standard resistance.
CONSTITUTION: Heater 24 is mounted on heater body 28. When insulation resistance between heater 24 and the body 28 is large, anode potential of PUT 32 is lower than gate potential and is "off". Therefore, relay contact 23 is closed and electricity is supplied to the heater 24. When insulation resistance between heater 24 and the body 28 is small, anode potential of PUT 32 becomes higher than gate potential, and thyrister 27b is connected, relay contact 23 is opened, and electricity to heater 24 is shut off.
