Abstract
PURPOSE: To safely, surely and smoothly insert and remove jacket by rapidly and accurately moving an elevating means for a fixed distance by the utilization of the energizing force of a spring for the elevator.
CONSTITUTION: When a jacket 13 is deeply inserted, a supporting lever 40 turns counterclockwise with an axis 58 as a fulcrum and therefore a spring 52 assumes the state of being stretched behind the axis 48. The lever 40 then rapidly rises by receiving the rotating moment in the arrow C direction. In this state, the lever 40 is rapidly turned by energizing of the spring 52 irrespective of the inserting and removing force of the jacket 13 and therefore an elevating means 22 rises rapidly up to a fixed height. Since this causes the elevating means 22 to be surely set on the same plane as that of guide means 67, 68, the jacket 13 guided by the guide means 67, 68 is accepted into guide grooves 27, 28 and is thereby engaged to a chucking device 71. If the jacket 13 is pulled out, the sequence reverse from the above is followed. Thereby, the jacket may be safely, surely and smoothly inserted and removed.
