Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the temperature differential by connecting the resistance in series to the heat-sensitive SCR and applying the voltage to the resistance in the discontinuance period of the voltage between the anode and the cathode with the reverse bias applied to the heat-sensitive SCR.
CONSTITUTION: When the application voltage exceeds the breakover voltage of heat-sensitive SCR1, SCR7 is turned on and heater 3 heats up SCR1 to turn it on with SCR7 turned off. SCR1 is then turned on again when it is cooled down. Thie ON-OFF temperature is varied by the voltage of power source 5 for the reverse bias, and the higher the voltage the smaller the ON-OFF temperature difference. Thus, the temperature differential can be controlled by adjustment of power source 5.
