Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus of less dead angle by using the same microwave oscillator as oscillation sources for an alarm device of a transmission-reception system detecting receiving levels and an alarm device of a Doppler radar system for detecting moving objects and providing the detection functions of both systems.
CONSTITUTION: When a microwave oscillator 31 is driven by a pulse modulator 32 of a repetitive frequency fm, the oscillation output wave f1 thereof is pulsed and is partly consumed by a mixer 33. The majority are radiated from a transmission antenna 21. A reception antenna 24 receives these and in a receiving wave processing circuit 38, the level variations between the transmission and reception antennas are detected to judge the presence or not of any intruder. This is then displayed in an alarm generator 39. With only this, the area around the foot of the transmitter becomes a dead angle and therefore a reflecting plate 22 is provided to the transmission antenna 21 to radiate the part of the radiation waves f1 to the area around the foot of the transmitter like a detection pattern 23, then the reflection waves f2 from the moving object in that area are mixed in the output waves f1 in the mixer 33 and the output thereof becomes the Doppler signal in the form having received amplitude modulation with Doppler frequency, thereby emitting an alarm.
