Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit constitution by providing a single-turn deflecting coil to the pickup tube which reads out the tag card and then varying the scanning direction to secure the readable state of the tag card through the rotary adjustment of the deflecting angle for the deflecting coil.
CONSTITUTION: Single-turn deflecting coil 1, using two units of the deflecting coil featuring the same impendance, is used. With supply of the saw-tooth waveform voltage to input terminal 2 of the constant current driving circuit, the current flowing to coil 1 is fed back to differential amplifier 4 by the function resistance 3, and accordingly the current of the saw-tooth waveform proportional to the input voltage flows to coil 1. In such way, the current flowing to coil 1 is changed to the saw-tooth waveform, so the polarity switching becomes easy when the deflecting angle is changed to an optional angle. And no transient is caused through switching.
