Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable excellent operation even in high frequency range and to enhance the performance, by inserting simple impedance conversion circuit between differential amplifier of trigger circuit and AND circuit in a waveform observation apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A transistor Tr Q4, as an impedance conversion circuit by means of resistor R9, has the base connected to the collector of Tr Q3 of a differential amplifier A and the emitter connected to NAND gates G1, G2 of AND circuit. Hence, Tr Q4 presents both high input impedance and low input impedance due to the series negative feedback of the resistor R9, and the collector load of Tr Q3 is determined by the resistor R5, so that the specified voltage amplification in a wide band may be easily obtained from a small collector current. The gates G1, G2 are driven by low impedance, and excellent wide band amplification may be performed. Therefore, excellent operation with respect to trigger input signals may be realized over a high frequency range, and the improvement of performance may be also possible, requiring only small increase of current of Tr Q4 and resistor R5.
