Abstract
PURPOSE:To let piston motion be performed over a wide frequency range by arraying fibers along the generator of cone in a diaphragm for cone type speakers. CONSTITUTION:Carbon fibers 3 havig been impregnated with a resin are affixed onto an Al cone 2 along the generator direction of the cone 2, after which they are heated for 3 hours at 120 to 130 deg.C and formed. By this manner, the carbon fiber reinforced Al diaphragm 1 having anisotropy is obtained and the resonance frequency of said cone type diaphragm becomes high, thus its piston motion region is expanded.
