Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a reactor wherein rectifying lattices thereof are arranged by deviating the same from the center of the core toward the outer side in the radial direction, the coolant flowing out is passed through the corresponding lattice to prevent error in position of detecting instrumentation well, thereby to improve the precision of in-core instrumentation of the reactor.
CONSTITUTION: A core 6 is provided in upper and lower plenums 4 and 5 of a reactor vessel 1, and a heat impact preventing plate 13 is provided at the lower part of a upper mechanism 10 of the core 6. Respective lattices of the rectifying lattices 12a in the same number as the nuclear fuel assemblies are arranged by causing the same to approach the upper part of the core 6 and deviating the same the center of the core 6 outwardly in the radial direction. Then, the coolant flowing out of the core 6 passes through the corresponding rectifying lattice 12a but does not pass through other lattice. Consequently, the instrumentation well 16 detects the operational state of the corresponding fuel assembly thereby to prevent the positional error.
