Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the subject device wherein the exhaust side over the full surface of the inner part section of an exhaust hole is rendered wider than the inner peripheral side, thereby to prevent the adherence of grease.

CONSTITUTION: An inner surface 17 in the axial direction and an inner surface 18 in the radial direction forming a grease exhaust port 16 are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the vertical direction so that the exhaust port at the outer peripheral part is made wider than opening part of the inner peripheral surface. By forming the exhaust port 16 as described above, grease drops smoothly downward by its own weight. Further, since the grease 13 is easily exhausted, there is reducecd the leakage of oil out of a gap G between a rotor shaft 1 and the inner peripheral end surface of an inner bearing cover 4 and a gap 14 between a cover 9 and a oil thrower 11, and therefore the periphery thereof is not stained, the maintenance of the machine is easy, and it serves for the prevention of deterioration of insulation of the rotary electric machine.
