Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure the steady and high-sensitivity binary coding for the micro- signal at the rise and fall parts of the input signal by giving the binary coding to the signal as the threshold level after the low frequency component of the input signal had a level adjustment to the input signal.
CONSTITUTION: The electric signal obtained by picking up the tested object through the TV camera and the like is amplified (3), and the output is applied to one input terminal of comparator 8 via LPF4, one input terminal of comparator 7 and attenuator 5. Comparator 7 compares the output signal of amplifier 3 with the output signal of attenuator 6. In other words, the normal level obtained through LPF4 is attenuated (6), and the binary coding signal is delivered with the level-adjusted signal used as the threshold level and while the output of amplifier 3 is smaller than the output of LPF. Then the output of comparator 7 and 8 is applied to OR circuit 9 to obtain the final binary encoding signal. As a result, the steady and high- sensitivity binary coding becomes possible for the micro-signal at both the rise and fall parts of the input signal.
