Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a thermoplastic molding material copable of forming molded articles having uniform good surface gloss and few flow marks, by incorporating (A) a thermoplastic resin with (P) a flake or granular material made by kneading a thermoplastic resin with a powdery filler and (D) a powdery filler in specific proportions.
CONSTITUTION: A thermsoplastic resin (B) having a melt flow index equal to or higher than that of a thermoplastic resin (A) is kneaded with a powdery filler (C) in the range of volume ratio of (B) to (C) of 0.15W2.0, possibly in te presence of a small amount of a modifier to form a flake or granular material P. The material (P) thus obtained is incorporated with a powdery filler (D), which may be the same or different from the filler C, and the thermoplastic resin A to satisfy the simultaneous inequalities I and II: (a, b, c, and d are the mixing amounts based on the volume respectively). An extremely low-molecular weight polymer, non-crystalline polyolefine, etc. may be cited as the thermoplastic resin B.
