Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The stator or rotor 8 subjected to varish treatment is fixed on a supporting means on the rotary shaft 2 which is rotated by a driving means 4. On the end of another rotary shaft 10 rotated by a driving means 19, there are mounted a cutter 21 and a guide roller 20 having a radius slightly smaller than the cutter 21. The rotary shaft 10 is caused to be movable in the direction of the arrow F1 by means of an air-cylinder 18, and in the direction of the arrow F2 by means of an air-cylinder 14. Thus, varnish mass portions 22a projecting more than predetermine value can automatically be cut away by pressing the guide roller 20 onto the surface of the stator or rotor 8 and rotating both of the rotary shafts 2 and 10.
