Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a cation exchange membrane having superior OH- permeation resistance by swelling a fluorine-contg. cation exchange membrane with a water miscible org. solvent; removing the solvent; impregnating the solvent free membrane with a fluorine-contg. monomer; polymerizing them; swelling the resulting membrane with the above org. solvent; and removing the solvent.
