Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to obtain a superior bead appearance and uniform reinforced height even when stress etc. are found in basic material, by specifying the grain constitution of flux and making comparatively coarse grain flux.
CONSTITUTION: Grain size of backing flux is constituted so as less than 840μ of grain size to be more than 40wt.% and less than 297μ of grain size to be less than 20%. Less than 10 parts of thermosetting resin against 100 parts of the flux is contained in the above flux composition. Also, MgO; 20W45wt%, SiO2; 35W60%, ZrO2; 7W25% TiO2; 1W15% are used for flux component. By the above composition and grain size constitution, reinforced height of back bead is able to keep uniform even when scattering of adhesive property between the basic material and flux is produced and production of bead defect, such as herringbone etc., is prevented.
