Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of the detector of rotating angle and number of revolutions of magnetic fields for automatic meter checking of water supply, etc. through combination of an astable multi and magnetoresistance effect elements and eliminate defects such as easy receiving of the effect of external noise while outputs are being transmitted in cable.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetroresistance effect elements (MR elements) MR 1, MR 2 are used in place of resistances for time constant determination constituted by the resistors of an ordinary multivibrator. The rotating angles of magnetic fields are obtained from differences T1WT2 without obtaining from the change in the time constant T1 or T2, whereby the effect of temperature changes of the resistances RMR1 and RMR2 is reduced. If detection is made from the difference of T1 and T2 in this way, the effect of the change of the absolute value may be readily eliminated as far as the temperature changes of the resistances RMR1 and RMR2 are the same.
