Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure small size, by shortening the length of a valve in the cylinder direction, in a deceleration sensing type proportioning valve that adequately distributes braking force to front and rear wheels in the case of the braking of a car in response to the fluctuation of the live loadage of the car.
CONSTITUTION: A stepped piston 6 is sliding fitted into a stepped cylinder 2 shaped to a valve body 1 in a sliding-free form, and one end of a large diameter portion of the stepped cylinder 2 is blocked by means of a plug 3, to which a port 4 communicated with a rear wheel braking system and a small diameter cylinder 5 are shaped. Said piston 6 is provided with a small diameter extending portion 7 sliding fitted to said small diameter cylinder 5, and left energized by means of an adjusting spring 8. An adjusting oil chamber 13 is formed between the plug 3 and the large diatemer end surface side of the stepped piston 6 at said large diameter end surface side, and shaped in such a manner that the chamber 13 is communicated with an input oil chamber 11 through a G valve mechanism encasing a ball 15 guided by a guide surface 14, which forms an angle of yaw θ to the advance direction of a car.
