Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the durability of an elastic member capable of providing an optimum brake force always in response to the carrying load state and retaining pressure transmission member in non-operating position when displacing by operating only substantial compressive force to the member.
CONSTITUTION: When a vehicle is no loaded, brake pressure by a master cylinder 5 is introduced through a conduit 8 directly to a front wheel cylinder 9 and through a conduit 4, passages 26, 27, chamber 28, passage 29, valve seat hole 22, output hole 3, and conduit 6 of a brake pressure controller body 1 into a rear wheel cylinder 7. The brake pressure is also introduced from the chamber 28 through passage 36 into the chamber 35 at the back side of a pressure transmission member 33. When the vehicle is no loaded, the deceleration of the vehicle reaches predetermined value before the brake pressure in the chamber 35 urges through the member 33 and elastic member 34 to a plunger 12. Then, an inertial ball 37 is seated at a valve seat 38 to control the brake pressure into the chamber 35 to thereby suitably distribute the pressure to the front and rear wheels.
