CONSTITUTION:In this engine, a pulley 2 of a crank shaft 1 is linked with a pulley 4 of a cam shaft 3 by a timing belt or a chain 5. Here, to a balance shaft 8 to be given the revolutions of an engine through a gear 11 firm fixed on a crank shaft 1 and a gear 9 firm fexed on the balance shaft 8, a driving shaft 6a of a distributor 6 is connected for driving the distributor 6. This construction serves to remove the change or the increase of trnasfer errors in a system and to select the ignition timing of the distributor 6 accurately for the turning angle of the crank shaft 1.
