Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase dielectric constant and also to reduce dielectric loss by dispersing the fine crystal particles of an organic charge-transfer complex into an oraganic polymer.
CONSTITUTION: The fine crystal particles 2 of an organic charge-transfer complex are dispersed into the organic polymer film I. In such a structure, the fine crystal particles serve as internal electrodes and the thin layers 3 formed between the particles 2 also make up great numbers of condensers, so that the apparent dielectric constant of the whole film bocomes greater. The organic charge-transfer complex used is one of an electric conductivily of more than 0.05ohm-1 cm-1, e.g., a complex salt comprising the N-heteroaromatic cyclic compound of quinolinium, etc., having good electric conductivilty, and 7, 7, 8, 8-tetracyanoquinodimethane. The organic polymers used are polyvinylbutyral resin, phenoxy resin, epoxy resin, etc., having functional groups. e.g., hydroxyl group and epoxy group.
