Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to perform the phase difference modulaton processing of two signals by constituting an all pass circuit so that the lower-side band wave of the modulated wave corresponding to one signal can pass and the upper-side band wave of the modulated wave corresponding to the other signal can pass.
CONSTITUTION: Modulated signals consisting of the first and the second signals which have a band width near to each other are given to all pass circuits 3 and 5 respectively, and the output of circuits 3 and 5 is supplied to amplitude modulators 4 and 6. Then, carrier oscillator 9 supplies carriers, which have the phase different from each other by a fixed quantity, to amplitude modulators 4 and 6 and couples the output of amplitude modulators 4 and 6 by hybrid circuit 8 and output the coupled output. In this case, circuits 3 and 5 are so constituted that the upper-side band wave corresonding to one signal of the first and the second signals in the upper-side band wave of the modulated wave can pass and the lower-side band wave corresponding to the other signal in the lower-side band wave of the modulated wave can pass. As a result, the phase difference modulation processing of two signals can be performed.
