Abstract

PURPOSE: Vegetable proteins such as soybean protein or wastes of aminoacid fermentation are hydrolyzed with a mineral acid, the resulting solution is subjected to ion exchange or electrodialysis to fractionate the organic acid component, which is concentrated, thereby producing inexpensibely said detergent for removing rusts and scales.
CONSTITUTION: Vegetable proteins such as soybean protein or wastes of aminoacid fermentation for glutamic acid or lysine are hydrolyzed with a mineral acid such as hydrochloric acid. Then the resulting solution is concentrated to remove the hydrochloric acid and treated with an amphoteric ion excange resin of phenolic or subjected to electrodialysis to fractionate the organic acid component. The solution of organic acid component is concentrated to 1/30-1/40 volume to separate salts mainly consisting of sodium chloride by filtration, thus obtaining said concentrated organic acid mixture solution.
