Abstract

PURPOSE: To start an engine readily by a light kick power which is stored in a spring of a spring-loaded shaft 24 located between a kick shaft and a crank shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A kick shaft jointed to a kick pedal 39 is connected to a primary dock mechanism 11 of an output shaft 3 via a quadrant gear 12 and a pinion 14, whose rotation is transmitted to a crank shaft 2 via a gear 8. The secondary one- way-turning dock 22 makes the rotation of the kick shaft via the gear 17 of the output shaft 3. The rotation of the hub 5 is stored on the spring 35 of a spring- loaded shaft 24 via a one-way cluch 38. After the kick motion is concluded and the cluch mechanism 7 comes into engagement, the loaded spring 35 is released to power the shaft 2.
