PURPOSE: To reduce the amt. of fuel required to heat exhaust gas from a sintering machine in removal of NOx in the gas by heating the gas to a predetermined temp. with outlet hot air of a sinterdd ore cooler.
CONSTITUTION: Exhaust gas 5 of 60W150°C exhausted from sintering machine 12 is fed to hot gas mixer 11 through heat exchanger 1 and denitration fan 2 and heated to the denitration temp. of 200W450°C. At this time, as air needed to burn fuel 8 for hot stove 3, outlet air of sintered ore cooler 13 is introduced through dust removing unit 4 and fan 15 in an amt. proportional to the consumption of fuel 8 and fuel 8 is burnt with the air to generate hot air 9.
