CONSTITUTION: Analog voltage VIN to be transmittted is applied to one input terminal of adder/integrator 1, and the fixed voltage -VR or +VR is applied to the other input terminal through switch S1 or S2 which is opened and closed selectively. And the output of circuit 1 is supplied to the comparator, and the pulse train whose duration and frequency are varied according to the level polarity of the analog signal is transmitted via luminous element D in the form of the modulation signal. While at the reception side, the modulation signal is received through photo detector T, and input -VR and +VR of integrator 3 are switched complementarily via output V2 and the reverse output passed through inverter INV2.
