Abstract

PURPOSE: Metal materials are coated with a primer containing an organic peroxide and a specific organic silane and laminated with a polyolefin by laying a specific intermittent layer of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer between them and heating to strengthen the adhesion.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of inorganic materials such as metal like tin or glass is coated with a primer containing an organic silane bearing olefinic double bonds such as vinyltrimethoxysilane and an organic peroxide of the formula (R1WR3 are 1W18C alkyl) such as dicumyl peroxide. Then an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer is laid as an adhesive between the metal material and a polyolefin material and the adhesion is effected by heating
