Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the refractory, vibration-, shock-, magnetic-shield- and water- proof properties of a sensor by inserting a partition of a ferrite resin into a clearance between an outer casing and a molding material.

And, the mechanical distorsion is absorbed to form no clearance in the interface, and the water-proof property of the sensor 1 can be improved against the cooling water. Moreover, a core 4 can be prevented from being broken by the external force, and the shielding effects against the outside magnetic field can be increased together with the absorption of the shocks and vibrations. Still moreover, the directivity of the magnetic field in the upward direction can be strengthened, and the change in the mutual inductances due to the approach of a steel plate can be taken out by a high frequency coil 6 as a discrepancy from a resonant circuit into an electric circuit thereby to detect the change in the distance according thereto
