Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Mixing powdered oxides of Pb, Ti, Zr, Ba, and Nb, calcinating, and exposing to polarization treatment to produce a dielectric piezo-dielectric porcelain, wherein molar ratios of Ba2Nb2O7, PbTiO3, and PbZrO3 are composed so that 0.2≤, z≤0.8, y+z=1.0, 0.001≤x≤0.2 in the formula (1-x)Pb(TiyZrz)O3.x (Ba2Nb2O7)1/2. Qm and tanδ are improved without any change of Kp and ε by adding 0.01∼3.0 % by weight of Mn reduced as MnO2 equivalent to the composition.
