PURPOSE: To improve room cooling and heating efficiency and to reduce noise by uniformalizing the velocity of air flow at the air inlet of a blower and by making smooth the condition of air flow ejected from the blower and thereby reducing the energy loss caused by eddy currents.
CONSTITUTION: Partitioning plate 41 forms a step with adjacent partitioning side plate 42 and another with adjacent partitioning side plate 43. Surfaces E and F are connected by means of sloping surface G. By sloping surface G, the occurence of eddy currents in the air flow along partitioning plate 41 is prevented and thereby flow resistance is reduced. Also, since distance D2 between surface F of partitioning plate 41 and front panel 7 is made larger than distance D1 beteeen surface E and front panel 7, the flow resistance in the passage mainly formed by surface F and front panel 7 is made smaller compared with that in the passage mainly formed by surface E and front panel 7
