Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner which facilitates the assembly and improves the effect of heat and sound insulations by retaining equipment composing the freezing cycle and attached device with a retaining frame made of foaming synthetic resin material.

CONSTITUTION: A retaining frame 1 molded foaming synthetic resin material is devided into two--a lower frame 2 and an upper frame 3. A compressor 5 is fixed to a compressor installing section 6 on the lower frame 2 while a condenser 8 and an evaporating machine 13 are respectivey installed to the respections. Likewise, a blowe and a fan 18 is mounted to a mount section 19 and electric parts 15 are done to a mount to a mount section 16. The upper frame 3 is placed on the lower frame 2 in such a manner to meet with a rise wall 7 and 21 or the like. In this manner, a freezing cycle is composed. After equipment composing the freezing cucle is incorporated betwenthe upper and lower frames, it is solidly fixed to a fixed frame not illustrated and covered with a cabinet. With such an arrangement, the positioning of various equipment can be done easily while the capacity of heat and sound insulation and sound absorbing possessed by the retaining frame itself can eliminates the need for additinal material and reduce the cost
