Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect the degradation of the cut-off section by setting up a detector to detect the difference voltage of a bridge circuit in a circuit consisting of the impedance to constitute a number of specially connected cut-off sections and bridge circuits.
CONSTITUTION: A circuit is constructed by connecting a DC power supply 1 to a current transformer coil 5 and a resistor 6 through a circuit breaker 2 and making the current zero point in the circuit breaker with a commutating capacitor 3. The vacuum valves 21 and 22 of a vacuum breaker are connected in series and impedances 31 to 34 are set up in parallel. A voltage unbalance detector 40 and an amplification arithmetic circuit 44 communicating to it by a light guide 42 are set up between connecting points A and B. consequently, after cut-off, by detecting re-ignition occurence status based on the difference voltage between the vacuum valves of the voltage generated by the current transformer coil 5 and a resistor 6, the degradation of cut-off function can be detected and protected
