In the meantime, the reference value generating part 2 sends rated values, alarm values and limited values for every signal D1WDn. The data converting part 1 computes abnormality indices S1WSn for everyprocess signal D1WDn by using thede input signals, which gives input to the signal generating part 3. The signal generating part 3 groups te abnormality indices S1WSn for every machine or group of machines, gives output of the largest one among the abnormality indices in its group as the abnormality index pertinent to the machine or the group of machines, which is displayed by the displaying part 4
