Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish smooth traffic in the lines to cope with rush hour or the like with a reduced start interval from platforms by allowing the subsequent self- travelling body to pull in as soon as the platform is available with a closer possible access to the platform.
CONSTITUTION: Based on a fixed stop position, for example, a platform 1, the first and second standby positions are set at a closer possible distance as disired. With the respective positions as a terminal point, transmission loops A to C are so arranged in a safe section allowing a self-travelling body to stop in a decelerated manner as to overlap partially. In addition, sections 8 to 9 for detecting the existence of the body is set between the platform 1 and the standby position 2 as well as the standby positions 2 and 3. Signals f1 to f3 are transmitted respectively corresponding to the loops A to C while the body is provided with an A.T.O. device having a deceleration patterns a to c to allow the body to stop in a decelerated manner witnin the respective loops. In this manner, the preceding self-travelling body can be controlled corresponding to the positions 1 to 3 as mentioned above
