Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the subject device wherein an arc current and a systematic voltage at the operation time recorded on a magnetic tape are reproduced, thereby to make it possible to inspect the function of an actual machine by the reproduced signal without using the actual machine of reactive power control device.
CONSTITUTION: A voltage signal VA at the operation time of an arc furnace recorded on a magnetic tape 100 is applied to a synchronous type since wave generator 103 to obtain a sinusoidal wave signal ES free of a wave form strain. This sinusoidal wave signal and a current signal iL at the operation time of the arc furnace recorded on the magnetic tape are applied to the control circuit 104 of the reactive power control device to obtain a control signal Sg. Moreover, this control signal is applied to the analog models 105 of the power system and the reactive power control device to obtain an output current (compensating current) iF of the reactive power control device. By adding the compensating current iF and the arc furnace current iL in an adder 109 thereby to obtain signal i0 analogous to the current flowing from the incoming point to the power source side. This signal i0 is supplied as input to a system impedance model 106 b to detect a voltage analogoue to the voltage in the incoming point at the time of suppressing the fluctuation of the reactive power by means of a flicker meter 112 b
