Abstract

PURPOSE:A hair-dressing agent containing a copolyme of an olefinsulfonic acid compound and a vinyl ester or its partially saponified product, as a polymer component. CONSTITUTION:A hair-dressing composition containing a polymer component comprising (a) an olefinsulfonic acid-vinyl ester copolymer consisting of an olefinsulfonic acid such as ethylenesulfonic acid, allylsulfonic acid, etc. and a vinyl ester such as vinyl acetate, vinyl propionate, etc., wherein the content of said olefinsulfonic acid is 0.5-5 mole%, or (b) a partially saponified product of said copolymer wherein less than 50% of the vinyl ester component is saponified. EFFECT:A composition having moderate setting power and excellent applicability, and giving non-sticky hair free from getting dusty.
