Abstract

PURPOSE: To grind the outer surface of the castings efficiently by its rotation to all direction through the feed of the vibrating conveyor.

CONSTITUTION: A perforated bottom plate 21 provides in its longitudinal direction the plural number of a projected fin 23 and in the said fin 23 the fin in one side is an uniform height projected fin 24 which has the approximate same height toward the longitudinal direction and the fin in other side is a graded projected fin 25 which has the upward grade in the fin viewing from the center to the outward position. For the alternating continuity of each projected fin 24 and 25, a feed plate 20, 20a, 20b.... installed with a reflection plate 26 in the outside of the said projected fin are positioned in much quantity. Furthermore, an adequate error H is provided at least in one position of these continuity for layouting it in the form of the step and then the castings which is fed by vibration on the said feed plate 20, 20a, 20b... is rotated to all direction, i.e., horozontal, left and right and forward and backward, during their feed by the said projected fin 24 and 25 and the step in the continuity for the effective grinding of the outer surface of the castings
