Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In a copying apparatus of the type, in which an original image formed on a moving zerographic photosensitive member of slit exposure type is transferred to transfer paper, the moving speed of the member is varied in accordance with the ratio of the circumferential length of the photosensitive member and the copy size. In the case of a shorter size, therefore, an image II, which is enlarged in the scanning direction, is formed on the member, whereas an image II, which is reduced in the scanning direction. is formed on the same in the case of a longer size.
