PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of vehicle position detection information by providing a second absolute position detector which detects the passage of a vehicle in the narrow section within the position section corresponding to the response range of a first absolute position detector. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle passes over a ground element 4, a vehicle position detector 12 sends out a vehicle position detection output D as its antenna 13 couples to the ground element 4. On the other hand, a second absolute position detecting element 21 sends out an absolute position detection output G when it couples to a ground position mark element 23. Since the ground position mark element 23 is provided within the response range of the ground element 4, a logic gate circuit 22 opens only for a short time while the detection output D is being generated, at whitch time the vehicle position detection output E is sent to the ground side through an information transmission unit 11.
