Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep saturation magnetization and bubble charasteristic length of a magnetic garnet film constant with independent of its growing temperature by liquid epitaxial growth with use of mixed melt containing Ga2O3 and GaO-GeO2 in a specific ratio.
CONSTITUTION: With mixing a melt for (YSm)3 (GaFe)5O12 and a melt for (YSmCa)3(GeFe)5O12, a liquid epitaxial growth from the mixture makes a magnetic garner of the solid solution containing(YSm)3(GaFe)5O12 and (YSmCa)3(GeFe)5O12. The relationship of growth temperature (Tc) dependency vs. saturation magnetization (4πMs) or TG dependency vs. bubble characteristic lenght (1) for magnetic garnet obtained and the ratio x of the melt for (YSm)3(GaFe)5O12 in the mixed melt is shown in the figure. Therefore, in the growth at x=0.716, 4πMs and 1 are independent of TG and to be constant
