Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent occurence of a mechanical habit like twisting of a cable and degradation of a transmission characteristic by laying the cable with a spacer in an underground duct line.
CONSTITUTION: A cable is laid with spacers 3, 4 or the like in an underground duct line. For example, radial spacers 3 are mounted in a 75 mm duct line and a fine cable with diameter of 10∼20 mm such as an optical fiber cable is laid between these spacers. A spacer with a center circle and separaters 4 or a pipe with separaters 4 may be used instead of the radial spacer 3. By this means, the optical fiber cable or the like is arranged in the duct line in order as well as degradation of a transmission characteristic is prevented
