Abstract
PURPOSE: Constitution of an auxiliary closing relay on the double piston makes it possible to perform both throttling adjustment and nozzle velocity adjustment by one system of controlling system.
CONSTITUTION: The controlling system comprises an auxiliary closing relay 18 composed of a rapid closing piston 19 which actuates by output signals from an accelerating relay pilot 1 and an accelerating relay 2 at the time of rising steam turbine rapid rotation, and a piston 30 which generates signals for throttling velocity adjustment, a pilot 29 which transmits output signals to said relay 18, a velocity setter 21 contrived such as to perform throttling velocity regulating control of a steam regulating valve 12 by said relay 18, and an orifice 32 which charges constant controlling oil to said pilot 29 by operating this device 21, in concurrence of respectively connecting a series of levers 20 and a connecting rod 27 to said device 21 with installing a motor 26 and a handle 22 such as to be able to make consecutive action and manual operation, limiters 23, 24 are installed on a drive shaft 25, to decide upper and lower limits of stroke extent
