Abstract
PURPOSE: To line even a curved or a diameter changing pipe with ease and certainty, by attaching fine solid lining materials to a tubular body and by passing the tubular body through the conduit.
CONSTITUTION: The wire 6 is transferred from the reel 5 to the other side by means of the material 4 which is conveyed from one end of the pipe by the pressurizing device 3. The fine solid lining material (a) is dispersed and attached to the whole outer layer of the gas-impermeable tubular body A capable of bending and changing its diameter and having the outside diameter the same as the inside diameter of the installed pipe 1. The tubular body A is folded up to reduce its diameter, connected to the wire 6, and inserted in the conduit 1. The tubular body A is enlarged by the material 4 which is conveyed by the pressurizing device 3, thus forming a lining layer of the lining material (a) on the whole inner wall surface of the conduit.
