Abstract

PURPOSE: The title composite material having balanced and improved tensile propenties and impact strength, comprising needle-like crystal gypsum fibers having an aspect ration in specific range and a thermoplastic resin.
CONSTITUTION: Needle-like crystal gypsum fibers, 2μ or less in diameter, having an aspect ration of 10W40, free from granules or aggregated blocks having a panticle size ≥20μ are blended with a granular thermoplastic resin having a particles size of preferably 1mm or less, more preferably 0.5mm or less. The aspect ratio is preferably adjusted by shearing fibers alone or therir blend with a resin powder using a high-speed mixer having a strong shear force and blending function.
EFFECT: Increased bulk deusity, reduced variation between lots, stabilized and increased output, etc.
