Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the clogging of sieve without reducing the effective area of the sieve event in sieving powder mixed with water-containing adhesive powder, by making notches in stays for supporting comb-tooth pieces and by connecting the notches to overlapped gaps.
CONSTITUTION: The comb-toothed net for sieving sintered ore etc. comprises frames 2, 2 and the stays 3W3. The notches 5W5 are provided on the tops of the notches. The comb-tooth pieces 6 have their bottoms 7 on the tops of support parts 4 and are obliquely fitted on the stays 3W3. The comb-tooth pieces are so overlapped with one another that the bottom 7 of each piece is located under the tip (length L) of the adjacent piece. The small overlapped gaps 9 between the overlapped comb-tooth pieces are connected to the notches 5 of the stays 3. The net 1 does not get clogged with powder even if it is mixed with water-containing adhesive powder
