Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase sieving efficiency by attaching both ends of a directly-vibrating grizzly bars to a horizontal net of a vibratory sieve so that the maximum vibration is given to the center part of the grizzly bars and thereby preventing the clogging of the net.
CONSTITUTION: A part of, for example, 12mmϕ-mesh steel-plate punched net 10 for ore supply is removed, and 9mmϕ-mesh grizzly bars 11 is directly attached to the framework of 12mmϕ-mesh steel-plate punched net 10 at a fixed angle (for example, a gradient of 15°). Only both ends of the grizzly bars 11 are fixed so that the maximum vibration is given to its center part. This structure can produce good results. Namely, core supplied from ore supply conveyor 1 falls on the ore dressing device via shoot 12, and pulverized core is effectively removed as it travels on the inclined grizzly bars 11 and net 10.
