PURPOSE: To provide a halogen lamp, having potassium in addition to halogen elements sealed therein, in which amount of potassium vapor is limited to such an extent that halogen cycle may not be affected adversely in operation of the lamp, whereby corrosion at low-temperature portions of filament can be prevented while not affecting the function of protecting the bulb wall from darkening.
