Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable recording of superior storage stability to be obtained on various recording surfaces such as of plain paper, plastics and metal foils through primary coloring by constituting the transfer layer by the specific resin and coloring agent. CONSTITUTION:The transfer layer composed of the resin of 60 to 110 deg.C in softening temperature such as phenolic resin of the formula (R is H, alkyl, phenyl; n is 0 to 50) and cloring agents is provided on a sheet base material of 10 to 30mu thcik preferably to a thickness from 1 to 10mu. When oridinary paper or the like is placed on the surface of the transfer layer of such transfer sheet and its hot pressed by a thermographic head from the back of the sheet, stable record may be obtained efficiently and inexpensively.
